Building structure in detail
The 4Med modular building was constructed as a freestanding structure (solitaire). It consists of a total of 5 storeys (ground floor to level 04 – technical centre), and at the current location a partial basement was additionally constructed on-site from reinforced concrete.
The multi-storey building in the shape of a square is structured by an equally square inner courtyard. The basement and the top floor (level 04) each extend over only a partial area of the building.
The ground floor houses the outpatient functional areas with their own entrance, above which are the inpatient areas with standard care and intensive care unit.
Construction & Equipment
The above-ground storeys were built using steel frame construction in torsion-resistant cage construction, taking into account all required fire protection cladding.
The building has two elevators and a complete building services infrastructure.
